The POINT series, based on the KMB series with the HEIDENHAIN TNC124, offers precise control for straight milling, drilling and tapping. It includes a floating tap holder and can create circular paths with up to 999 holes.
Universal bi-rotary heads enable vertical, horizontal and combined milling at different angles. The sturdy box-type column and wide, ground guideways ensure stable guidance of the spindle head. The one-piece bed with dual lubrication and cooling system offers great stability to the saddle, which is designed to withstand the loads of heavy cutting on the bed’s wide guides.
The Biplast system ensures smooth axis movement, while the AC servo motor allows easy adjustment of feed speed via a dial on the panel, simplifying operation.
