The U1050 is a robust machining center designed for small to medium-sized parts, with a maximum load capacity of 10,000 kg. Its rigid structure with a flat ram ensures great stability, ideal for heavy roughing work and precise finish machining. Transmission equipment is located at the rear of the ram, preserving the machine’s stability and rigidity.
For enhanced precision, the Y-axis ballscrew is oil-cooled. The KORTA ballscrew, with Class C3 double nuts, is preloaded to minimize backlash and reduce heat distortion on all axes. Accessibility to the work area is excellent, with operator protection ensured by complete enclosures that effectively evacuate swarf, contain coolant and reduce noise.
Integrated systems ensure efficient management of swarf and coolant to dedicated tanks.
